Occupational Medicine
Brandon Penix - DO, MPH
Our physician, Brandon Penix, DO, provides employment health services that help your employees return to work quickly and safely after injury, improve workplace health, and increase productivity. He provides pre-employment physicals exams and screenings, DOT certifications, FAA Flight Physicals (all classes), disability evaluations, and he manages workers’ compensation cases—including analysis of new injuries, managing work restrictions, and closing cases.
Dr. Penix is part of the Washington State Department of Labor & Industries’ Medical Provider Network (MPN). He also is a certified DOT Medical Examiner, as well as a licensed Medical Review Officer (MRO).
He also served in the United States Army as a General Medical Officer, where he evaluated wounded soldiers’ fitness-for-duty.
Occupational Medicine
Amanda Yanska - ARNP
Our Nurse Practitioner, Amanda Yanska, provides services from Workers' Compensation Injuries to DOT Physicals and more. Amanda's field of expertise of patient care spans from being a Firefighter and EMT to being a Nurse in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. Before she joined Northwest Medical Group, Amanda specialized in Pain Management. Amanda is focused on patient recovery to get back to maximum functioning capacity after your injury!
Certified Medical Assistant
Sabrina Weber
Sabrina has been a Certified Medical Assistant for 9 years. She graduated Big Bend Community College with her associates in Medical Assisting before that she was a Certified Nursing Assistant for 10 years she worked as a traveling aid. Last year she got Certified in Drug screening as well as Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation.
Sabrina enjoys being active and loves cars and you can catch her desk covered in greenery!

Joe Ketterer
Joe has extensive experience in operational and financial management in both hospitals and clinic areas! He strives to deliver change and innovation effectively and efficiently! Joe plays a crucial role here at Northwest Medical Group by being that personal connection to employers in the area to build a foundation for us to provide many different employer services! Joe also has a passion for various forms of community outreach, including our local rodeo association!
Office Manager
Sydney Kriete
Sydney has been in customer service for about 7 years and enjoys helping others with whatever they may need! For our office, Sydney is our office manager, our photographer, our graphic designer, and our content creator! She is born and raised here in Moses Lake and graduated from MLHS and attended Big Bend Community College and continues her education currently!
Sydney enjoys photography and anything she can DIY!
Certified Medical Assistant
Robyn Weber
Robyn graduated from BBCC with an Associates degree in Science and completed the Medical Assistant Program in 2014. She has been in the medical field her entire working career, with prior work experience in Home Health, Surgical tech in MBU, a MA in Primary Care Private Practice and a larger organization. In her spare time, she spends a lot of time with her family and in her craft room.

Nicky Valdez
Nicky is the first face you see when you enter our office, and her smile is sure to brighten your day! She answers our phones and does our everyday scheduling. Nicky is also the only one in our office who is bilingual in Spanish!
